What the game stores about you, why, and how to get rid of it.
PLAYING WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
On first run your device makes up a random player number and a name (say Player#1234). Both stay in your browser's storage on your device, and they also sit in a strictly necessary cookie so the game recognises you next time, even if the browser clears the site's storage. You can change the name in the leaderboard.
No account is needed to play. Without one we know nothing about you beyond what a finished round sends us.
GAME RESULTS
When you finish a round we store the player number, name, game, difficulty, mode, number of words solved, points, best combo, accuracy and time. It serves one purpose: the leaderboard.
The server works out the points from the number of words solved — we do not take a finished figure from your device.
SIGNING IN
Signing in is optional and solves one thing: keeping your score when you change phones. If you sign in with Google or e-mail, we store your e-mail address and an account identifier and attach them to the player you already are.
From Google we take only the e-mail and basic account details. We read nothing else and have access to nothing else. If you appear in the leaderboard under a generated name (Player#…), signing in with Google replaces it with your first name; you can change it any time with RENAME. Your e-mail never shows in the leaderboard.
WHAT STAYS IN THE BROWSER
Besides the player number and name, your browser remembers the chosen difficulty and whether sound is on. Difficulty and sound never leave your device. The game's cookies carry only the player number and name and serve one purpose: recognising you. They last 400 days and go away when you clear the site's data.
The game carries no ads, no analytics and no tracking scripts, and sells no data to anyone.
WHERE THE DATA SITS
The database runs at Supabase in Frankfurt, inside the European Union. The app is hosted by Vercel, which keeps operational request logs for as long as needed.

The data controller is Mindworx s.r.o., the company that runs PIXAGO.

YOUR RIGHTS
You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Deleting a player also removes all their leaderboard results.
